Birthday Shoutout!

Our very dear ~S~ turns another year older today. Not so sure about the wiser bit, though. KIDDING.

We love ~S~ and this is an offical public outcry to try and bring her back to posting, instead of working and schooling and shopping for bedsheets all the time.

Come back, lady!

and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

What Decade Do You Belong In?

Saks has a new gimmick on their website, where you can shop current items based on their resemblance to the looks of different decades: roaring 20s, proper 50s, mod 60s, boho 70s, acid 80s, and casual 90s. Is that what the 90s is known for? Casual? I guess so...what with the ripped jeans, loose flannel shirts, big baggy hip hop clothing, etc. That's probably why I loved the 90s as a kid...and why I'm not so crazy about it now that I'm older and appreciate the gloriousness of a dress.

I don't know about you guys, but I love it when shopping websites do things like this. It's a sure way that I will spend a lot of time browsing looks, although it's not guaranteed that I'll buy anything since everything is SO FREAKING EXPENSIVE.

At least it'll give you ideas for what kind of styles you're attracted to, and maybe that will tell you a little bit about yourself, too. Who knows. Go play!

20% off Bloomingdale's

A little on the late side, but:

Use the code FSHIP to get 20% off for orders over $250 and free shipping on all orders over $100 through February 27...which is essentially in 15 minutes here on the East Coast. But since it says THROUGH the 27th, I'm assuming Wednesday is the last day for this sale.

So get to it!

Bloomingdale's.

Kenneth the Page + Mariah Carey

I know this is a lot of videos, but what's good is good, and this is DANG GOOD, y'all. Just a clip, as the Brett Ratner directed video (how the heck did this collaboration happen?) will be debuted later on.

This video gives me a new found respect for Mariah, whom I've always loved in her tight-clothed glory, and just amplifies my adoration for Jack McBrayer (who plays Kenneth the Page on 30 Rock and is by far my favorite character on that show). I mean, anyone who's even had a small part in Arrested Development forever gets a pass in my book.

Cutest Asian Baby Ever

Just you go ahead and try to tell me how this kid isn't the most adorable thing you've ever seen. I love how he bows...and how he leans in to the mic when he isn't singing...and the scream before the Na Na Na Na part.

ImprovEverywhere.com

200+ people freeze in Grand Central Station at the exact same. Awesome!

More here.

Needing a 90's music fix?

Kind of random, but if you use Pandora (see previous post about Pandora.com - or click the link on the left) and create a new channel using "Backstreet Boys," gems like 98degrees, All-For-One, Savage Garden, Westlife, Goo Goo Dolls, and 'Nsync play and effectively bring back some fond memories.

I'm re-living the good ole days today at work.

Enjoy.

Lipstick Jungle Free Download on Amazon Unbox

Download the pilot right now on Amazon - a week before it airs on tv! and see if it's any better than Cashmere Mafia...which I will admit, I have watched 2 episodes, and is kind of not that great. I'll be watching it only for Jack Yang (who plays Jason Chun in the 4th episode).

I'm not sure how I feel about Brooke Shields, I don't know the blonde, though I hear she was on 24 (BARF!), and every time I see Lindsay Price, I think of "Linda" from that Boy Meets World episode where she's Eric's cute cheerleader girlfriend and whom Morgan loves. So...that's good, right?

Get the free episode here: Amazon.com.
